Atmospheric pollen trends during 1st - 18th Oct 2007

  • Allergenic particles (Grass and Alternaria fungal spores) remain very low
  • Nothofagus appears on the 5th Oct
  • Total pollen conc. reduced with rainfall events and is
    extremely low during 21-25 Oct (due to machine failure)
  • Birch pollen peaks during strong northerly winds

  • high dust days = days registering periods of particle counts > 20000grains/m3/hr
